The printed images or texts are skewed

Problem

When the printer is working properly, the printed images or texts are skewed.

Cause

1. The paper in the paper tray is not properly loaded. The edge guides may be too far apart or too close together, and the excessive or insufficient pressure on the paper causes it to become skewed, wrinkled, or jammed inside the printer.

2. The laser component inside the printer is damaged or the software is abnormal.

Solution

The printer has been fully checked to ensure optimal functionality before delivery. Each printer's quality of image has been verified according to industry standards. Please do not be concerned. If the issue occurs, you are advised to perform the following steps to troubleshoot

(It is normal if the skewness of printed texts is within 1.5 mm/100 mm):

1. Check the paper stack and ensure that the edge guides and the rear stopper are properly aligned.
2. You are advised to restore the printer to its factory settings.
3. If the issue persists, take your printer and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. If your printer is newly purchased, you can contact your reseller or seller directly.
