Use Vlog Mode to Take Videos from Different Camera Angles

You can make vlogs in various shooting modes, such as the front/rear, rear/rear, and Picture in Picture (PiP) modes, and add background music to your vlogs.

When the front and rear cameras are used, the dual view shows what has been captured by the front camera and rear camera side by side. When just the rear camera setup is used, the dual view shows a panorama and a close-up of the center of what is being filmed.

Better yet, you can switch between the cameras during the recording without having to pause or stop.

  1. Go to Camera > Vlog. You can then:

    • Choose which camera mode you want to use: Before starting recording, touch and choose from the front, rear, front/rear, rear/rear, or PiP mode.

Touch and select Front/Rear to have the dual view show what has been captured by the front camera and rear camera. You can adjust the zoom level by pinching in or out on the viewfinder. Touch the screen twice to swap the positions of the dual view images.

Touch and select Rear/Rear to have the panorama view and zoomed-in view displayed side by side on the screen, with the zoomed-in area at the center of the regular view. You can adjust the zoom level by pinching in or out on the viewfinder. Touch the screen twice to swap the positions of the panorama and close-up views.

Touch and select Pic-in-Pic to enter PiP mode. Touch to swap the positions of the front view and rear view images. You can also drag the window to any other position.

During the recording, you can touch to switch between modes or touch to switch between the front and rear cameras without having to pause or stop your recording.

    • Select background music: Touch to select background music.

    • Switch to Story creator mode: Touch to switch to Story creator mode and use the pre-installed templates to create multi-angle videos without having to move your phone.

  2. Touch to pause recording and to stop recording.
