How to scan files to PDF using the printer

Mobile devices:

  1. In the HUAWEI AI Life app, open the printer homepage, select Scan, set the desired scanning parameters, and touch SCAN.
  2. Once the scanning is complete, touch the More icon, and select Save as PDF. The scanned file will be stored in the specified path in PDF. (The default storage path is the HuaweiPrint folder and cannot be changed.) You can open the Files app and find the scanned PDF file in the HuaweiPrint folder, or go to SHARE > Share as PDF and follow the onscreen instructions to select the app to which you would like to share the file.

    If you want to scan multiple files into one PDF file, select CONTINUE. Once the scanning is complete, select all of the files, touch the More icon in the upper right corner, and select Save as PDF.

Computers (running Windows or Linux):

  1. Open the printer homepage in HUAWEI PC Manager or open the Huawei Print client, select Scan, set the desired scanning parameters, and touch SCAN.
  2. Once the scanning is complete, touch the check box in the lower right corner of your scanned file. In the displayed dialog box, touch Save as PDF, and follow the onscreen instructions to select a storage path.

    If you want to scan multiple files into one PDF file, select CONTINUE. Once the scanning is complete, select all of the files, and touch Save as PDF.
