Viewing the default address of programs and apps downloaded from Microsoft Store on my computer

Programs and apps downloaded from Microsoft Store are installed in the following path by default: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps (Hidden items). You can perform the following operations to view them:

  1. Go to This PC > View > Show/Hide (Windows 10: This PC > View), and select Hidden items.

  2. Open the folder: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps. A dialog box is displayed, indicating that You don't have the permission to access this folder.

  3. You need to obtain permission to access this folder. To obtain the permission:

Double-click WindowsApps and go to Continue > Security > Advanced > Change. Enter the current account name in the pop-up window and click OK.

Click the Windows icon and then the Settings icon in the lower left corner, and click Accounts. The account name will be displayed.
