If the router's indicator is steady green, it is connected to the Internet. If your computer connected to the router using a network cable would not connect to the Internet, perform the following to troubleshoot:
1. Check whether the computer can access the router's web-based management page
- Use a network cable to connect the computer to the router's LAN port.
- In the browser's address bar on the computer, enter 192.168.3.1 to check whether the computer can visit the router's web-based management page.
- If the computer can visit the page, restart the computer and try Internet access again. If the issue persists, 3. Check whether parental control is set for the computer.
- If the computer cannot visit the page, 2. Check whether the computer can obtain an IP address.
2. Check whether the computer can obtain an IP address
By default, the router's LAN IP address is 192.168.3.1, and the DHCP server is enabled to automatically assign an IP address in the 192.168.3.2 to 192.168.3.254 segment to devices connected to the router downstream. If your computer's IP address is not in the specified segment, it cannot access the Internet. Perform the following steps to change its IP address:
- Use a network cable to connect the computer to the router's LAN port. Click the network connection icon in the lower right corner of your computer desktop, then select .

3. Check whether parental control is set for the computer
Parental control specifies which devices can access the Internet at which times. To check whether parental control is set for your computer, use either of the following methods:
- Method 1: Using the web-based management page on a computer
- Connect a computer with Internet access to your router's Wi-Fi network. You can also connect the computer to your router's LAN port using a network cable. In the browser's address bar on the computer, enter 192.168.3.1 and log in to the router's web-based management page.
- Go to l, and check whether your device that is unable to access the Internet is on the list of . If so, disable or delete the parental control rule and check whether the device can access the Internet.
- Method 2: Using the HUAWEI AI Life app on a phone
- Connect your phone to the router's Wi-Fi network, and open the HUAWEI AI Life app.
- On the home screen of the HUAWEI AI Life app, touch the router concerned to access the router management screen.
- Go to to check whether a parental control rule is set for your device. If so, disable or delete the rule (swipe left and touch the delete button). Then check whether the device can access the Internet.
