Perform the following to troubleshoot:

1. Check the network port connection

Ensure that the router is connected to the correct network port of the modem, instead of the ITV/IPTV port.

2. Check the broadband service

Remove the network cable from the router, and directly connect the cable from your computer to the modem or wall-mounted network port. Then select an Internet access mode and check whether the computer can access the Internet. If the computer cannot access the Internet, there is an issue with your broadband service. Contact your broadband service provider for assistance.

3. Verify the DNS server address and MTU settings

Configure a static DNS on the router. Set the maximum transmission unit (MTU), which is a limit to the data packet size that can be transmitted over the network. The router's default MTU value is set according to international standards for maximum efficiency. However, some broadband service providers do not follow the international standards, and their default MTU values may be smaller, meaning larger data packets may be unable to be transmitted. To set the DNS and MTU, perform the following steps:

  1. From the browser address bar, visit 192.168.3.1 and log in to the router's web-based management page.
  2. Access the Connect to Internet page. Select Static DNS, set Preferred DNS server to 1.1.1.1 and Alternate DNS server to 8.8.8.8. Set MTU to 1400. Then click Save.

4.Check whether the router's DHCP server feature is enabled

By default, the DHCP server feature of the router is enabled to allocate IP addresses to devices connected downstream. After the DHCP server feature is disabled, wireless devices such as mobile phones that automatically obtain IP addresses cannot connect to the router's Wi-Fi network.

  1. Connect your computer to the LAN port of the router, and enter 192.168.3.1 in the address bar of the browser to access the web-based management page.
  2. Go to More Functions > Network Settings > LAN.
  3. Make sure that the DHCP server switch is turned on.
