Problem

When the user opens the pre-installed Camera app and switches to the front camera, the preview screen is in Non-mirroring mode.

Cause

Version 2020.504.40 of the pre-installed Camera app is incompatible with the latest Windows 11 system.

The preview screen of the front camera in Camera 2020 is in Non-mirroring mode, and photos taken are also displayed in Non-mirroring mode.

The preview screen of the front camera in Camera 2021 is in Mirroring mode, and photos taken are displayed in Non-mirroring mode.

No matter which version of the Camera app is used, photos taken are displayed in Non-mirroring mode.

Solution

1. Connect to the Internet and open the Microsoft Store.
2. Update the Camera app to version 2021.105.10.0 or later.
