Signing in with a Microsoft account

Signing in with a Microsoft account

To sign in with a Microsoft account, ensure that your computer is connected to the Internet.

  1. Press Win+I to open the Settings window and select Accounts > Your info.

  2. Click Sign in with a Microsoft account instead and follow the onscreen instructions to switch to your Microsoft account.

    After you have switched to a Microsoft account, this account and the password are required to log in to the computer again. However, apps and files will not be affected.

    If you are using a Super Administrator account or another Microsoft account, first switch to your local account and then sign in with the Microsoft account you want to use, as shown in the following figure.
