The computer disconnects from a SanDisk USB flash drive when I copy large files from the computer to the USB flash drive

Problem

When copying a large file from the computer to a SanDisk USB flash drive via the computer's USB-C port, the computer enters Sleep mode. After waking up the computer, it becomes clear that the USB flash drive has been disconnected from the computer, and the copying halts.

Cause

SanDisk USB flash drives are not compatible with the USB-C port.

Solution

It is recommended that you use the USB port to copy files.
