Waterproof levels

The earphones have been tested in a lab under controlled conditions and can reach the waterproof levels in Table 1.

Precautions

The HUAWEI FreeBuds/FreeLace series/FreeClip earphones are splash-resistant, but they are not specialized water- and sweat-proof devices. The splash- and dust-proof performance is not permanent, and protection may decrease due to wear over time.
Do not wear the earphones when you are showering, taking a steam bath, or swimming. If your earphones come into contact with any liquids, such as rain or sweat, use a piece of dry, lint-free cloth (such as microfiber cloth) to wipe them clean. Do not use the earphones or place them back in the charging case until they are completely dry.

If there is liquid inside the device

If your earphones come into contact with any liquids, such as rain or sweat, use a piece of dry, lint-free cloth (such as microfiber cloth) to wipe them clean. Do not use the earphones until they are completely dry.

Water has entered the earphones

Hold the bottom of the earphone tightly and gently shake it to remove any water from the opening at the top of the earphone.
Use a hair dryer to blow cold air into the rear air vent of the earphone. Do not dry the earphone by heating it. Then leave the earphone for 48 hours in a well-ventilated and dry environment.

Water has entered the charging case

Open the charging case and take out the earphones.
Use a hair dryer to blow cold air into the charging port of the charging case to dry it out. Leave the case open for 48 hours.

If the issue persists, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
