Unable to connect to a HUAWEI Vision when using Vision Control in the HUAWEI Vision app |
If your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the HUAWEI Vision, but the connection fails when you touch Vision Control on the home screen of the HUAWEI Vision app, perform the following to troubleshoot:
1. Connect the phone and HUAWEI Vision to the same Wi-Fi network
Make sure that your phone and the HUAWEI Vision are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and try using Vision Control once again.
Your phone will need to support 5G Wi-Fi networks. Visit the official webpage for your phone model to check whether it supports 5G Wi-Fi.
2. Enable Vision Control
On the HUAWEI Vision, go to Settings > Connections, and enable Vision Control. If the feature has been enabled, disable and re-enable it.
3. Make sure that the HUAWEI Vision/HUAWEI Vision app has been updated to its latest version
HUAWEI Vision: Go to Settings > System > Software update, and update the HUAWEI Vision to its latest version.
HUAWEI Vision app on the phone: Open the HUAWEI Vision app, go to Me > Settings > Check for updates, and update the app to its latest version.
4. Restart the device
HUAWEI Vision: Restart the HUAWEI Vision after it has been powered off.
Phone: Go to the Recent tasks screen on your phone, close the HUAWEI Vision app in the background, and open it again.
