Adjusting the DPI of a HUAWEI mouse
Adjusting the DPI of a HUAWEI mouse |
The DPI of a mouse refers to the positioning accuracy of the mouse, that is, the maximum amount of information that can be accurately located each time the mouse moves one inch. Generally, the higher the DPI value of a mouse, the higher the sensitivity of the mouse pointer movement.
Precautions
HUAWEI Bluetooth/wireless mouse devices have multiple models (you can view the model on the label in the battery compartment of the mouse). The DPI of certain models is fixed and cannot be adjusted, while certain models allow you to adjust the DPI value. For details, see the following table.

Adjustment using Huawei PC Manager (applicable to CD23, CD23 SE, and WYN)
- After the mouse is paired with a HUAWEI Windows computer via Pop-up Pairing, click MORE in the dialog box that is displayed after the connection is complete. Alternatively, open Huawei PC Manager, click My devices, and select the connected mouse.
- On the HUAWEI Accessories Center page, click the corresponding DPI value to switch to the corresponding level.
Adjustment using the custom button (applicable to WYN only)
The custom button of the HUAWEI Wireless Mouse (WYN) is located in the middle (under the scroll wheel). By default, it controls DPI adjustment. You can adjust the DPI value by pressing the custom button: a press on this button switches the current DPI level to another.
- After the HUAWEI Wireless Mouse is connected to a device, open Huawei PC Manager, go to My devices, click the mouse card, and click Shortcuts.
- Tablet: Open the HUAWEI AI Life app and touch the mouse card.
- Other computers: Open the ScreenHop client (Open the HUAWEI Support official website, click the drop-down arrow to switch to the Huawei wireless mouse (WYN). You can download and install the latest version of ScreenHop client under Software Download.) Click the connected mouse to access its card.
- Set Shortcuts to DPI.
You can also set Shortcuts to ScreenHop. After the setting, you can press the button to quickly enable ScreenHop, or double-press the button to disable the feature.
