What are the sorting rules for notes on the home page?

Go to the home screen in Notes, touch the More options menu in the upper right corner, and then touch Sort by to set the desired sorting method: by time or by name.

1. Sort by time: The notes are sorted by modification time in descending order. That is, the most recently modified notes are displayed at the top.

   Note: The notes that were most recently deleted are sorted by deletion time in descending order. That is, the most recently deleted notes are displayed at the top. If deletion times are identical, the notes will be sorted by the most recent modification time in descending order.

2. Sort by name: The notes are sorted by name in ascending order. Chinese characters are converted to pinyin, and Latin letters remain unchanged. The size of a single character is defined as follows in ascending order: 0–9 < a–z < A–Z. Notes with the same name will be sorted by modification time in descending order.
