Viewing the computer hardware configuration in Windows

To view configuration information about computer hardware including the CPU, graphics card, and sound card, follow either of the methods outlined below:

• Method 1: View in HUAWEI PC Manager
  1. Open HUAWEI PC Manager and go to Optimization > Hardware info.

     

  2. You can find information about hardware including the processor (CPU), graphics card, and sound card in the displayed list.

     

• Method 2: View using the DirectX Diagnostic Tool

  The DirectX Diagnostic Tool is a system tool designed to test, diagnose, and modify the hardware working status. It can also be used to view the computer's hardware configuration information.

  To do so, perform the following steps:

  1. Press Win+R to display the Run window. Enter dxdiag and click OK.

     

  2. In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window:
     • Click System to view the Processor (CPU) and Memory.

       

     • Click Display. Name displays the hardware name of the graphics card. You can also view other information such as the Manufacturer of the graphics card.

       

     • Click Sound. Name displays the hardware name of the sound card. You can also view other information such as the Hardware ID of the sound card.
