Get Closer with Super Macro

Delve down into the details by enabling Super macro mode, and capture the dance of a dragonfly or dewdrop in descent.

Shoot Close-up Photos, with Super Macro

  1. You can access Super macro in any of the following ways:

    • Open Camera, and select Photo mode. Then frame your subject within the viewfinder, and bring your camera closer. When the camera is close enough, it will automatically enter Super macro mode and focus in on the subject.

    • Go to Camera > More, and select Super macro mode. The camera will automatically focus. You can also touch AF and drag the zoom slider to manually focus.

  2. Drag the zoom slider in the viewfinder to adjust the focal length. A smaller value will create a wider angle of view.

  3. Touch to take the picture.

Shoot Close-up Videos, with Super Macro

  1. You can access Super macro in any of the following ways:

    • Open Camera, and select Video mode. Then frame your subject within the viewfinder, and bring your camera closer. When displays, touch to enter Super macro mode. The camera will automatically focus in on the subject.

    • Go to Camera > More, select Super macro mode, and touch to switch to Video mode. The camera will automatically focus. You can also touch AF and drag the zoom slider to manually focus.

  2. Drag the zoom slider in the viewfinder to adjust the focal length. A smaller value will create a wider angle of view.

  3. Touch to start recording.
