An NFC card is located on the top of the HUAWEI WiFi Mesh. An NFC card is located on the lower right corner of the HUAWEI WiFi AX3.
You can connect your phone to the router's Wi-Fi network by tapping your phone that has enabled NFC against the router.
- This feature is available on Android devices that support NFC, but some devices with non-standard NFC may be unable to connect. iOS devices do not support this feature.
- When the phone or tablet screen is locked or off, OneHop connection will not work.
The following example describes how to connect a Huawei phone to the router's Wi-Fi network using OneHop connection:
- When the phone screen is unlocked and on, swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, and turn on NFC. (The specific path may vary depending on the phone model.)
- Tap the phone's NFC area (generally around the rear camera) against the NFC area of the router.
- In the Connect to network dialog box, touch Connect to complete the Wi-Fi connection.
To disable this feature, log in to the router's web-based management page and go to More features > System Settings > NFC.
