The message "Checkup timed out" is displayed when I use Huawei PC Manager to detect faults on my HUAWEI PC

Problem

When using the Troubleshooting or Optimization feature in Huawei PC Manager for fault detection, the message "Checkup timed out" is displayed.

Cause

The HiviewService.exe process is not started or is not running properly.

Solution

  1. Restart the computer.
  2. If the issue persists, uninstall Huawei PC Manager by referring to Uninstall apps from a HUAWEI computer, and download the latest version of Huawei PC Manager from the official website.
