I'm unable to set a new screen zoom ratio after connecting my HUAWEI computer to a monitor

Problem

1. After a user opens Settings on the laptop, connects the laptop to an HDMI monitor, and switches to Second screen only mode, the newly set screen zoom ratio does not take effect.

   

2. When the device is connected to an HDMI monitor and is in Second screen only mode, the zoom ratio can't be set.

   

Cause

This is an issue in Windows 11. The computer's system settings do not update after the computer is connected to a monitor.

Solution

1. Go to Settings > System > Display, switch from screen 1 to screen 2, and then adjust the zoom ratio.
2. To resolve this issue, Huawei has requested an optimized Windows version. Please stay tuned for new OS patches and update your device at the earliest convenience. Update availability is dependent on Microsoft.
