The Notes app provides a seamless digital handwriting experience, with intuitive note management and personalized settings to help you organize your thoughts.
Only tablets are pre-installed with the Notes app. For other Huawei devices, please go to AppGallery to download the Notes app. If the Notes app cannot be found in AppGallery, it indicates that your device does not support the app.
Create or Add a Note
Create a note
To create a note, open Notes and follow any of the methods below:

Quickly creating a note: Double-tap

Using a template: Touch
, and select New note to enter the settings screen.To set Cover: Touch to select a desired cover. You can also go to Custom >
to use a custom image as the cover as prompted. To change the cover of a note, go to 
> Edit cover under the note.To set Paper: Touch a paper template and then touch
, set the paper direction to Portrait or Landscape, select different types of paper templates, specifications, and colors as required, and touch 
. To change the paper type, touch 
on the note editing screen and change the settings as prompted. -
Importing to create a note: Touch
, select Import images, Import PDF, or Import HiNote, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
Add content to a note
On the editing screen, touch in the upper right corner. From there, feel free to:
- Add an attachment: Touch Add attachment, select an attachment format as required, and follow the onscreen instructions to select an attachment, which will display as a card in the note.
- Import new contents: Select Import images or Import PDF, and follow the onscreen instructions.
