The watch complies with the 5 ATM-rated resistance level under the ISO 22810:2010 standard, which indicates that it can withstand up to 50 metres of static water pressure for 10 minutes. This does not necessarily mean that it is water-resistant in water that is 50-metre deep. The watch can be worn during shallow water activities, such as swimming in a pool or along the coast. It is compliant with the EN 13319 standard for diving accessories, and supports free diving at a maximum depth of 30 m. The watch should not be worn during hot showers, at hot springs, or in saunas (steam rooms), nor during platform dives, high-pressure rinsing, or other activities that involve high water pressure, high temperatures, high levels of humidity, or fast-flowing water. It is not suitable for scuba dives, technical dives, or diving activities at depths deeper than 30 m. Leather and metal straps are not designed to withstand swimming or sweat, and therefore other straps are recommended in such scenarios. Remember to rinse the device with freshwater and wipe it dry after using it in ocean water. The HUAWEI WATCH 4 Pro with the dark brown leather strap does not support diving. You can wear a HUAWEI EasyFit strap instead when you go diving.
