The image poses more questions than it does answers and so in turn excites the imagination of the viewer. Is the plane going to make it or crash? Where is it going? Who is the silhouetted man in the foreground? There is sense of a story unfolding and of movement in this photo which invites the viewer to fill in the gaps.
—— Jessica Hromas
The roaring planes in the distance and the people watching quietly nearby, the blurry woods, and the golden contours of the audience's body painted by the setting sun, all kinds of elements coexist harmoniously in one picture.
—— Li Changzhu
Incredible sense of motion, depth of field and connection. Perfect timing and composition, with the human element positioned as if he wasn't directly looking at the airplane, but likely waiting for his turn to challenge the sky. The trees at a distance, enveloped by the mist, offer a strong counterpoint to the industrial scape, nicely filling up the background. The yellow colour grading adds a vintage and timeless aesthetic to the frame.
—— José Ramos
Although the airplane is huge, the man standing in the picture with a clear golden outline is the real symbol of power and control; except for the people and the airplane, all other details in the picture are lightly covered with a layer of dust, which looks both virtual and real, allows the visual centre to be completely attracted to the subject.
—— Pei Tongtong
We see the same mountains, rivers, trees, flowers, and people...everything is the same, but why are there people who take the photos differently? The reason lies in the difference in the photographer's mental landscape. This image is the proof.
—— Chen Xiaobo

Fearless Eagle|HUAWEI Mate 40 RS

In addition to the outside , the more important is to find the inside of the subjects, their characters, or their emotions at that moment. We have seen many eagles in paintings, photography and videos, but I will definitely always remember this one - it captures the true soul of the eagle. Under its plump and thick feathers, there are its sharp and intimidating eyes.
—— Pei Tongtong
This is a truly unique image. There is wonderful detail in this eagles’ face, with fine feather detail in light and dark areas. What really sets this image apart is the silhouetted reflection on the open hand in the eagle eye. Here we get this magic interplay between the photographer and the eagal subject, strange and remarkable.
—— Jessica Hromas
A gorgeous close-up image of a beautiful creature, captured with stunning detail and crispness. What sets this image apart is obviously the reflection of the photographer in the eagle's eyes, creating a subtle but strong visual bridge between both species.
—— José Ramos
The highly saturated colours and sharp hair details are highly consistent with the eagle's temperament; and the hand in the pupil adds to the storytelling and mystery of the picture.
—— Li Changzhu
The eagle face is rare. Reflecting the photographer's hand in the eagle's eyes, conveying unique meanings through the photographer's work.
—— Chen Xiaobo

#NIGHT WALK

Technically challenging photo with astoundingly perfect composition. The fireflies creating the yellow points of light captured through the long exposure elevate this picture and set it apart from other similar captures, adding a unique mystique to it.
—— José Ramos
Here the use of a slow shutter speed has given the water a wonderful fluid silky blue effect. When our natural habitats are under constant threat all over the world, I think it is most admirable that photographers turn their lenses to nature, highlight its beauty and championing what we need to protect.
—— Jessica Hromas
In recent years, humans, nature, and all kinds of creatures have been getting along in a gentler and friendlier way: the streams are trickling, the fireflies are dancing, and we are recording it. All of us coexist in a gentle and tolerant way.
—— Pei Tongtong

This image is so simple yet so effective. The black represents night or space. It is this negative space in the image that gives the viewer room for their imagination run. The light on the child is warm, and the child’s stare goes on 100 miles. The helmet, the light and the gaze all combine to take us to another universe.

The photographer rejoices in natures' exotic colour and form, but then pushes the boundaries adorning the living flora and fauna with even more details and colours to create new fantasy creatures and plants. Fashion has always drawn inspiration from the natural phenonium but here it feels like a two-way street between natural living things and inanimate objects. It will be exciting to see where this photographer takes her imagination next.

Visually compelling portrait, creating tension by challenging the classical rules of composition, with the subject outside of the frame. The strong black and white editing strongly helps in conveying all the emotions mentioned, removing distractions and emphasizing the facial expression.
—— José Ramos
Black and white make things stripped back to the bare essentials. Here the mood is sombre, the expression says it all. Our empathy is called on and as humans we can all relate to that look. We wonder about her circumstances and what the future might be for her.

This image is all about great composition and the juxtaposition of old and new. There is also a beautiful use of colour with the inside of the house having a consistence colour pallet to the outside landscape of buildings. Getting this balance right in towns and cities is a tricky and worthy subject for photographers. We need functional buildings built for our times but it is also important to preserve historical and culturally significant buildings.
—— Jessica Hromas
A window is also a landscape. Together with the art sketch next to it, the composition is exquisite and poetic.

Volcanoes, thunder and lightning were regarded as unpredictable divine powers in ancient times. Sharp and powerful lightning pierced the huge volcanic cloud. The surrounding dark sky stared nervously, and a fierce battle seemed to be going on in the red cracks in the clouds. This is a very rare scene to capture in the unpredictable nature. It is like an anxious martial arts video, bringing shocking visual sense.
