Problem:

An app not opened is indicated as power-intensive on the notification bar.

Cause:

You may have enabled the auto-launch feature for the app. You will be prompted when the app is automatically launched and consumes power.

Solution:

To prevent the app from draining the battery by auto-launching, open Settings, search for and access App launch, then disable Manage automatically for the app in question. You can set Auto-launch, Secondary launch, or Run in background based on your requirements.
