1. The Raise to wake feature has been enabled
If Raise to wake is enabled, your phone/tablet will automatically turn on the screen when you pick it up.
If you do not need this feature, go to Settings, search for and access Raise to wake, and disable it.
(If you're unable to find Raise to wake, your device does not support this feature. Skip this step.)
2. The Notifications turn on screen feature has been enabled
If Notifications turn on screen is enabled, the screen will automatically turn on when notifications are received.
If you do not need this feature, go to Settings, search for and access Notifications turn on screen, and disable it.
(If you're unable to find Notifications turn on screen, your device does not support this feature. Skip this step.)
3. The Always On Display feature has been enabled
If Always On Display is enabled and Smart or Tap to show is set, the screen will automatically turn on when you look at or tap the screen after the screen turns off.
You can enable or disable this feature as required.
Open Settings, search for and access Always On Display, tap the four-dot icon in the upper right corner, and set Always On Display as needed.
If you're unable to find Always On Display, your device does not support this feature. Skip this step.
4 If this issue remains unresolved
If the issue remains unresolved, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
