Internet Explorer prompts users to authorize download permissions

Cause:

This is because your computer does not have the corresponding controls installed when you are browsing certain web pages.

Solution:

You can disable this prompt by changing the browser settings.

  1. Open Internet Explorer and click the Settings icon in the top-right corner, and click Internet options.

  2. Click Custom level... under the Security tab, check Disable under Launching applications and unsafe files, click OK, and then follow the onscreen instructions to restart your computer and check whether this issue has been resolved.
