Possible causes and solutions:

1. The device is incompatible with the AI Life app

Only devices that have Works with HUAWEI HiLink/HarmonyOS Connect on its package box, instruction manual, or purchase webpage can be added.

2. The device has been linked to another user.

You can ask the person to share the device to you. If you do not know to whom the device is linked, touch ADD MANUALLY, find the target device, reset the device according to the instructions, and link the device to your account again.

If you're using a new account to add a camera, log in to the AI Life app using the old account, delete the camera to unlink it, and then use the new account to add the camera.

3. The device has not entered the network setup state.

Touch ADD MANUALLY, find the target device, reset the device according to the instructions, and put the device into the network pairing state.

You can also check the instructions in the product package or consult the product provider.

4. The network environment is poor.

Make sure that the wireless network signal is good and the distance between your phone/tablet and the device is less than 1 m.

5. Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is not enabled on your phone or tablet.

To discover and add devices, make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone or tablet.

6. The device is not powered on or the battery is insufficient.

Make sure that the device is powered on properly or has sufficient battery.
