Moving apps on the computer to another path |
- You can only move apps that have been installed from Microsoft Store.
- If you copy an app installation folder and paste it in another drive, the app may be unavailable. If you want to save an app that cannot be moved to another drive, you are advised to uninstall the app and then install it on a new drive.
- Click the Windows icon and then the Settings icon, and select Apps.
- In Apps & features, click the app you want to move, and select Move. If the Move button is grayed out or unavailable, it indicates that the app cannot be moved. Then select the drive where you want to move the app, such as the D drive, and click Move.
