My HUAWEI Eyewear series device cannot be charged or is being charged slowly

Due to the chemical features of the lithium battery, the eyewear or case may fail to be charged if the ambient temperature is too high or too low. Ensure that the eyewear or case is charged at a temperature ranging from 10°C to 35°C, to ensure safe use experience.

To ensure battery safety and prolong the battery lifespan, the charging current gradually decreases and the charging speed slows down when the battery is almost fully charged, until it is fully charged. This is normal.

If your eyewear or the case cannot be charged, is charged slowly, or cannot be fully charged, or the indicators do not turn on during charging, perform the following steps:

1. Check the connection: Insert the USB cable firmly into the case or charging converter, connect the other end to the USB power adapter, and then insert the power adapter into the power socket.
2. Make sure that your eyewear is properly connected with the charger:
   • If you are using a HUAWEI Eyewear series device, connect the temple tips to the two ends of the charging converter respectively, connect the other end of the charging converter to the Type-C charging cable, and then connect the charging converter to a power source. Check whether the indicators turn on. If not, use a clean and dry cotton swab with pointed tips to gently wipe the charging contacts on the ends of the temples and the charging converter to remove foreign objects or smudges. Do this until the indicators turn on.
   • If you are using a HUAWEI X GENTLE MONSTER Eyewear series device, place it completely into the case, and check whether the indicator turns on. If not, adjust the position of the eyewear, to make sure that the temples are placed in the center of the case flatly.
3. Use a 5 V/1 A or higher charger and the cable that comes with the charger to charge your eyewear for more than 20 minutes. Power adapters for HUAWEI phones are recommended. If you are using the HUAWEI X GENTLE MONSTER Eyewear, use a charger to charge the eyewear case. If your eyewear is placed in the case, it can be charged at the same time.
   

   If you charge your eyewear after it has not been used for a long time, trickling charge will be triggered to protect the battery. Keep charging your eyewear for at least 20 minutes before using it again. It is recommended that you charge your eyewear or case at least once a week to avoid damaging the battery.

4. Check the charging status: After your eyewear is connected to your phone/tablet, you can check the battery level of your eyewear or case. If the issue is resolved, update the firmware of your eyewear to the latest version and fully charge it. If the issue persists, take your device and proof of purchase to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
