Renaming the Bluetooth HUAWEI FreeBuds/FreeLace series and WATCH Buds earphones

You can change the Bluetooth name of the earphones in the Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet, or in the AI Life app (subject to the actual settings for iOS devices). The new name will only take effect on the current device, and will not be synced to any other phones/tablets.

• Phone/Tablet Bluetooth settings

  Connect the earphones to your phone/tablet, go to Settings > Bluetooth, touch the Settings icon next to the name of your earphones, and select Rename. Once the name has been changed, touch OK.

  

   

  • For HUAWEI WATCH Buds earphones, you can only change the Bluetooth name in the Bluetooth settings.

• AI Life app

  Connect the earphones to your phone/tablet, open the AI Life app, touch the earphones card on the home screen, touch in the upper right corner, and go to Device settings > Device name to change the name. Once the name has been changed, touch OK.
