Correct wearing

Wear the eyewear in the correct manner, and make sure that it comes into contact with your skin, for optimal comfort and sound effects.

• HUAWEI Eyewear series is ergonomically designed with flexible hinges to ensure a snug fit on most users.
• If you are not comfortable while wearing the eyewear, go to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center or a professional eyewear store to adjust the fit.
• If you feel that the temples on your HUAWEI Eyewear series device are too short, go to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center to have the hinges replaced with longer ones free-of-charge.
• If you feel that the temples on your HUAWEI Eyewear series device are too long, go to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center to have the hinges replaced with shorter ones free-of-charge.
  

  HUAWEI Eyewear 2:

  • Rectangle semi-frame optical eyewear come equipped with standard hinges (+3 mm) by default. These can be changed to short hinges (+0 mm) or long hinges (+9 mm).
  • The Browline optical eyewear comes equipped with short hinges (+0 mm) by default. These can be changed to standard hinges (+3 mm) or long hinges (+9 mm).

  Please follow the health tips below:

  1. Using the eyewear at high volume levels for extended periods of time may damage your hearing. Please use the eyewear at a comfortable and moderate volume. It is recommended that you turn down the volume of the eyewear, wear the eyewear or place them near your ears, and then gradually adjust the volume to a suitable level. Try to avoid listening for over 60 minutes straight, and make sure that the volume does not exceed 60% of the maximum level. Remember to remove the eyewear when you are going to sleep.

  2. Sweat, soapy water, and skin care products attached to the temples may irritate your skin. It is recommended that you keep the temples, nose pads, or other parts of the eyewear that come into contact with your skin dry and clean, to make sure a comfortable wearing and prevent damaging your eyewear.

  3. Try not to exchange your eyewear with others. Gently wipe and clean the nose pads, temples, or other parts of the eyewear that come into contact with your skin with a soft, dry cloth used for eyewear, after each time wearing the eyewear.

Materials of HUAWEI Eyewear series

All eyewear materials coming into contact with skin have passed strict tests and comprehensive evaluations, including the EU REACH regulations, to ensure that they do not contain any hazardous substances.

Some people may feel uncomfortable while wearing the product due to moisture, fungal infections, weather conditions and environmental factors, or other reasons. If you experienced any discomfort in the past, please pay special attention to the following materials:

Nickel: The metal frame of the eyewear and the charging contact points at the end of the temples contain a small amount of nickel.

Acrylates: The adhesive used for device assembly contains a small amount of acrylates. This kind of adhesive is similar to those seen on band-aids. Be mindful of this if you have experienced any discomfort with band-aids or other products containing adhesives.

Cyclosiloxanes: The silicone rubber material on the nose pads contains a small amount of cyclosiloxanes. Cosmetics usually contain a small amount of siloxane as well, which the body tends to tolerate. However, if your skin is uncomfortable, and you have a history of cosmetic allergies, please be mindful of this.

If your skin is itchy, red, or irritated, take off and clean your eyewear. Check whether the discomfort goes away. If the discomfort remains noticeable, please consult with a medical professional before wearing the eyewear again. You can also call Huawei customer service hotline for assistance.
