How to clean and take care of your HUAWEI Eyewear 2

It is recommended that you clean and maintain the eyewear on a weekly basis, including the lenses, temples, meshes, charging contacts on the charging converter, and parts that come into contact with your skin.

Clean your HUAWEI Eyewear 2

  1. Clean the lenses

Use a specialist eyewear cloth or soft tissue to wipe the lenses. When the lenses are dirty or covered in dust, wash them with neutral detergent and clean water, and then wipe them gently with an eyewear cloth.

None of the HUAWEI Eyewear 2 models support quick disassembly of the front frame or ultrasonic cleaning.

  1. Clean the temples and meshes
    • Use a specialist eyewear cloth or soft wet cloth to clean the temples, but do not bring the eyewear into contact with alcohol or chemical solvents. Wipe the temples gently to avoid scratching them.
    • The speaker and charging head contain magnets. Avoid placing the eyewear and charging converter in environments with a lot of dust or metal debris. If there is any metal debris, use a clean and dry soft brush to gently remove any dirt from the sound holes, and then use a soft cloth to clean them. To avoid discoloring the adhesive or blocking the holes on the eyewear, do not use a tissue to wipe your eyewear. Do not use any sharp objects to clean the holes of the eyewear or exert excessive force.
  2. Clean the charging contacts on the charging converter

Before charging, use a cloth to gently wipe off any foreign substances, such as debris, sweat or water stains, or cosmetic residue on the charging contacts of temples and charging converter.

  1. Clean the surface of the storage box

Gently wipe the eyewear case with an eyewear cloth. Do not immerse the case in water, as this may permanently damage the eyewear.

Tips for healthy wearing

If you feel any discomfort while wearing, please pay attention to the following:

  • If the eyewear has been exposed to sweat, shower gel, shampoo, cosmetics, sunscreen, or other skincare liquids that may irritate the skin, or if you wear the eyewear during workouts, make sure to clean and dry the eyewear and nearby skin before wearing it again.
  • Check the materials of the product for any substances that may cause irritation.

If your skin is itchy, red, or irritated, take off and clean your eyewear. Check whether the discomfort goes away. If the discomfort remains noticeable, please consult with a medical professional before wearing the eyewear again.
