If the charger cannot charge the device, try the following:

1. Re-plug the charger into the same socket and check if it starts charging.
2. Plug the charger into another socket to see if the initial socket was faulty.
3. Try reinserting the cable into the device, replacing the cable, or charging a different device with this charger and cable, as it is also possible that the device or cable is faulty.
4. Clean the plug and ports with a soft brush.
   If the issue persists, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
