4G+ is only supported on the primary SIM card, and not supported on the secondary SIM card
The 4G+ function can only be enabled on the primary SIM card due to phone model restrictions.
The 4G+ switch may be turned off
For 5G mobile phones running EMUI 10.1/Magic UI 3.1 or later and 4G mobile phones running EMUI 9.1/Magic UI 2.1 or later, the LTE carrier aggregation switch is not available because LTE carrier aggregation is enabled on the phone by default. For other phone models, if the LTE carrier aggregation switch is not available, it indicates that the phone doesn't support 4G+.
To enable LTE carrier aggregation, swipe down from the top of the screen to display the shortcut menu, touch and hold the Mobile data icon to enter the Advanced settings screen, then enable LTE carrier aggregation.
The 4G+ function is only activated in specific scenarios
4G+ is only activated when the required Internet speed has reached a certain value, regardless of the signal strength. Therefore, the 4G+ function may not be activated and its icon may not be displayed when you are using services without any requirements for a high-speed network, such as when browsing a website.
The 4G+ network is abnormal in a specific area
If you cannot use the 4G+ network in a specific area, the network of your local carrier may be abnormal. In this case, contact your local carrier for confirmation.
The 4G+ network is affected by the ambient temperature
When two SIM cards are installed in your phone and the ambient temperature has dropped below 0°C, the 4G+ icon may not display even when the phone is in an area with 4G+ network coverage. This is because your phone will enter a low-temperature protection state when the ambient temperature is extremely low, resulting in the 4G+ function being temporarily disabled. The 4G+ network should go back to normal when the ambient temperature increases above 0°C. You can still use the 4G network when the 4G+ function is disabled.
Some Huawei phone models do not display the 4G+ icon, while phones of other brand do. This is because some phone models will always display the 4G+ icon, while Huawei phones display the 4G+ icon based on the actual network conditions. This is normal and doesn't affect normal use of your phone.
