Restoring the BIOS to its default settings on a HUAWEI computer

After you restore the BIOS to its default settings, your previous BIOS settings (such as enabling or disabling the Bluetooth feature) will be reset, which will not affect the disk data of the computer.

  1. When your computer is powering on or restarting, immediately press and hold or continuously press F2 to enter the BIOS settings screen.

    For MateBook (HZ) laptops and HUAWEI MateBook E Series 2-in-1 laptops, you can also access the BIOS settings screen by powering off the device and then pressing the Power button and Volume up button simultaneously until the BIOS settings screen is displayed.

  2. Press F9 to display the Load Default window, select Yes, and press F10 to save the settings and exit. The BIOS default settings will be restored.
