Why this issue occurs

The watch time is delivered by the phone system. After receiving the time, the watch system may take 1 to 2 seconds to set the time, leading to a slight discrepancy.

If your watch/band has not been connected to your phone, or has not been linked with the Huawei Health app, the time on your watch/band may differ from that on your phone with about five seconds of error every 24 hours.

Time on my watch/band is not synced with that on my phone or the difference in time is substantial

  1. Open the Huawei Health app and check the connection status on the Devices screen. If your watch/band is disconnected, touch Connect and check whether the time is back to normal.

  2. Open the Huawei Health app and swipe down on the Health screen to sync data. After the syncing is complete, check whether the time on your watch/band is back to normal.

    HUAWEI WATCH 3/4 Series watches support independent time syncing. You can enable the eSIM service on your watch and maintain a stable network connection.

  3. Add the Huawei Health app to the background protection list on your phone.

    If the Huawei Health app is closed in the background, your watch/band will be disconnected from your phone and the time will not be synced. It is recommended that you add the Huawei Health app to the background protection list on your phone. For details about how to do so on some mainstream phones, please refer to this.

  4. If the issue persists, unpair your watch/band from your phone, pair them again, and see if the issue is resolved.

  5. If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
