Enabling weather reports
Open the Huawei Health app, navigate to the device details screen, toggle on Weather reports, and select a temperature unit (°C or °F).
You can manually refresh weather information by swiping down on the Huawei Health home screen or opening the Weather app on your wearable device. In normal cases, weather information will be regularly updated.
Viewing weather information
Actual supported methods and information may vary depending on the device.
Through the Weather app
Enter the device app list and select Weather to view your location, local weather, environmental temperature, and other related data. Swipe up or down on the screen to access more information.
Through a watch face
Switch to a watch face that displays the weather info, to keep the latest data always on the device home screen.
Through Assistant·TODAY
Swipe right on the device home screen to access Assistant·TODAY, where you can find the latest weather info. Tap the Weather card to view more details.
Through the Weather card
Swipe left on the device home screen until you find the Weather card, to view your location and weather-related information. Tap the Weather card to access the app.
- Make sure that GPS is enabled on your phone, that the location permission of the Huawei Health app is always allowed, and that your phone is in an open area with GPS signal.
- If your phone is running EMUI 9.0 or earlier, make sure to select Use GPS, WLAN, and mobile networks or Use WLAN and mobile networks as the positioning mode, instead of Use GPS only.
- If you're using an iPhone, make sure to select Always for location access under .
- The weather information displayed on your watch may differ slightly from that displayed on your phone, since the watch-based service is pushed from Huawei Health with data collected from a different weather service provider.
