Uninstall pre-installed apps

Some apps are pre-installed on a new phone, including system apps and some third-party apps.

To ensure the normal use of your phone, system apps and certain important apps (such as Messaging and Camera) cannot be uninstalled. However, other apps can be uninstalled easily.

Uninstallation methods:

• To uninstall an app, touch and hold the app icon, and touch Uninstall. If the app cannot be uninstalled this way, uninstall it in Apps: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, find the app you want to uninstall, and touch Uninstall.
• If no Uninstall option is available, check whether the app is a system app which cannot be uninstalled.
