Unlinking a HUAWEI kids watch from a phone

For the main admin

If your kids watch is linked to multiple admins, please refer to the following to unlink them:
  • To unlink the main admin, first transfer their permissions to another admin, and then unlink them.
  • To unlink all admins, start by unlinking the common admins. (For detailed instructions on how to unlink a common admin, please refer to For a common admin.) Once all the common admins have been removed, you can then unlink the main admin.

If the watch has multiple admins and you need to unlink the main admin:

  1. Main admin: Open HUAWEI FamCare, and go to Devices > Admins.
  2. Hold down on a target common admin and select Transfer permissions. Now you'll become a common admin.
  3. Open HUAWEI FamCare , and go to Devices > General watch settings > Unlink.

If the watch only has the main admin:

  1. Open HUAWEI FamCare, and go to Devices > General watch settings > Unlink.
  2. Select Just unlink or Unlink & clear cloud data.

    The Just unlink option keeps all of the watch's contacts, friends, and settings data on the cloud of HUAWEI FamCare, and restores the watch to its factory settings before restarting it.

    Actual interface may differ.

For a common admin

  • Unlinking on your own:

    Admins: Open HUAWEI FamCare, and go to Devices > General watch settings > Unlink.

  • Removal by the main admin:

    Main admin: Open HUAWEI FamCare, and go to Devices > Admins, touch and hold the admin in question, and tap Remove.

For the main admin: When unlinking the watch via HUAWEI FamCare, make sure the watch has a SIM card inserted and remains connected to the Internet. Once unlinked, the watch will reset to its factory settings and restart, preparing itself for re-linking.
