How to update an app

Apps that have been released on AppGallery will be automatically updated when a new version is available, as long as your device is connected to Wi-Fi and is being charged. To enable auto-update, go to AppGallery > Me > Updates, and enable Auto-update over Wi-Fi.

In addition, AppGallery will prompt you if an app needs to be updated. You can also go to Settings or Help center within an app to check for updates. Some apps will automatically check for updates when connected to the Internet, and prompt you if there is an update available. If you have installed Petal Search, you can view the app update notification in it，or if you have installed a third-party app store, such as ApkPure or ApkMonk, you can also view the app update notification there.

• It is recommended that you keep your device connected to a stable network when updating the app, to ensure a complete download of the app installation package.
