Updating the version on the watch:

• When the kids watch detects a new version, it will display a notification. Swipe up on the watch face to enter the notification screen, touch the notification to enter the system update screen, and download and install the new version.
• Press the Home button when on the home screen of the kids watch to enter the app list, go to Settings > Update. If a new version is detected, touch Download. After the download is complete, touch Install to install the new version.

Updating the version in the HUAWEI FamCare app:

Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the upper left corner of the home screen, and then go to Watch updates > Check for updates. If a new version is detected, touch Update, follow the onscreen instructions to select an update mode, and touch OK.

 

• It is recommended that you ask your child to take off the watch before updating the version.
• Ensure that the battery level of the kids watch is greater than or equal to 30%. If the battery level is low, charge the watch. When the battery level reaches 30%, the watch will then automatically finish updating.
• The update takes about 15 to 30 minutes. During the update, the kids watch and the HUAWEI FamCare app will display a message for you to view the update progress.
• If you receive a message indicating that the storage space is insufficient during the update, clear the storage space of the watch and try again.
• Updating the version on the watch: Make sure that the watch is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
• Updating the version in the HUAWEI FamCare app: When the update package is being downloaded, the notification bar in the HUAWEI FamCare app will display "Downloading". You can touch the notification bar to enter the system update screen to view the download progress. After the update package is downloaded, a progress bar will be displayed on the screen of the kids watch, indicating that the watch is installing the update. After the update is complete, the kids watch will automatically restart.
