Use either of the following methods to enter the system based on the current screen status. If you do not have the required hardware (such as the OTG cable and docking station) or the following methods fail, bring your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for further assistance.
The display is clear but the touch control does not work
Application scenario: The screen display is normal, but the device does not respond when the screen is touched.
Required tools: OTG cable and USB mouse
Procedure:
- Connect devices: Use an OTG cable to connect the USB-C end to the phone/tablet and the USB end to the mouse.
- Restart the device: Press and hold the Power button until the device vibrates, and wait for the lock screen to display.
- Unlock the screen: On the lock screen, use the mouse to enter the lock screen password to unlock the screen.
- Back up data: After unlocking the screen, use the mouse to export the backup data by referring to Backing up your phone/tablet.
It is recommended that third-party apps such as QQ and WeChat be migrated and backed up separately, and ensure that the backup content is complete and valid.
The display is very blurry (applicable only to devices that support wired projection)
- Use a docking station to project the screen to a monitor or Vision device.
Required tools: HUAWEI docking station (USB-C to HDMI and USB), keyboard, mouse, and monitor or Vision device.
Procedure:- Connect devices:
- Connect the USB-C end of the docking station to the faulty device.
- Connect to the keyboard through the USB port.
- Connect to the monitor through the HDMI port.

- Unlock the screen: Use the keyboard to enter the screen lock password. (If the pattern password is used, connect to a mouse to enter the password.)
- Cast the screen: After the screen is unlocked, press the Tab key twice quickly, and then press the Enter key. The monitor will display the screen of the device.
- Back up data: Remove the keyboard and connect to a mouse. Then, you can back up data on the device. For details, see Backing up your phone/tablet.
