Restore data on the Recently deleted screen in Settings.

Open Settings, search for and access Organize contacts.

If the Recently deleted option is available, touch and hold a contact on the Recently deleted screen then touch Redo. (If this option is unavailable, it indicates that restoring deleted contacts is not supported on your phone.)

Restore data on the Recently deleted screen in Cloud

First confirm that you have enabled contact synchronization on Huawei Cloud. Then perform the following:

1. Log in to the Cloud website (cloud.huawei.com) on your phone or PC.
2. Touch Recently deleted at the bottom of the screen, select the contacts you want to restore, and touch Restore. (Note: Since EMUI 10.0, the recently deleted data can be stored for 30 days.)
3. On the Contacts screen, check whether all your deleted contacts have been restored.
4. Log in to Huawei Cloud on your phone and enable contact synchronization. The contacts will then be synced to your phone.

Restore data using Cloud backup.

If you have enabled Huawei Cloud backup, you can use it to restore contacts.
