Using AI Sound in Huawei PC Manager

With the AI Sound feature in Huawei PC Manager, you can set your preferred audio effects for various circumstances, and enjoy an immersive and clear audio experience.

 
  • If you need to use the built-in microphone of your computer or an external microphone to record audio or video, you can set AI Sound.
  • The audio effects may vary depending on the headset model, your usage habits, the video and audio apps, your surroundings, and other factors.
  • Update your Huawei PC Manager to 13.0.1.330 or later to support this feature.
  • Huawei PC Manager interfaces vary depending on the model and version.

This feature is available only on certain models.

Scenario 1: Setting AI Sound when no microphone is in use

  1. Click on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen to open Control Panel, and select the card.

    Click on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen to open Huawei PC Manager and then My devices, and select the card.

  2. Click Microphones and select an appropriate audio effect based on your needs.

    If the version of Huawei PC Manager is 13.0.3.341 or later:

    Under Microphones, you can switch between Noise Canceling and Sound TrueHD to select different audio effects.

    • Noise Canceling

      Personal Voice Enhancement: Amplifies your voice in noisy backgrounds and provides you with an optimal online conference call experience, when calling via a headset.

      Sound TrueVoice: Eliminates noise, making it easier to hear all participants, for smoother conference calls.

      Call Noise Canceling: Filters out ambient noise on the other end of calls. (Currently, this feature is available only on certain models.)

    • Sound TrueHD: Captures sound details and restores pristine voice quality so others can hear you clearly, thereby providing you with a high-definition voice and video recording or calling experience.

    If the version of Huawei PC Manager is earlier than 13.0.3.341:
    • Personal Voice Enhancement: Amplifies your voice in noisy backgrounds and provides you with an optimal online conference call experience, when calling via a headset.
    • Sound TrueVoice: By leveraging AI noise cancellation, this innovative voice enhancement tool focuses on multiple voices (at different distances) at the same time, and eliminates background noise such as keyboard typing and mobile phone ringtone, to provide a better multi-party call experience.
    • Sound TrueHD: Captures sound details and restores pristine voice quality, thereby providing you with a high-definition voice and video recording or calling experience.

  3. After setting your preferred audio effect, open a communication app to start a call with others. The audio effect will be applied during the call.

Scenario 2: Setting AI Sound when a microphone is in use

When you are using a microphone to record audio or video, the AI Sound shortcut management card is displayed on the top of Control Panel, for you to quickly set the feature.

  1. Click on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen to open Control Panel and then AI Sound.

  2. From the shortcut menu for setting AI Sound, you can select an audio effect name to quickly set the audio effect.

    If the version of Huawei PC Manager is 13.0.3.341 or later, the AI Sound settings screen displays the following information.

    If the version of Huawei PC Manager is earlier than 13.0.3.341, the AI Sound settings screen displays the following information.
