Instructions

  • If your audio sharing phone/tablet has been connected to two pairs of earphones, follow the steps below for self-sharing:
    • Method 1: Swipe down from the right corner of the phone/tablet screen to display Control Panel, and go to > Audio projection. Select the two connected pairs of earphones to have the audio play from both pairs of earphones.
    • Method 2: Swipe down from the right corner of the phone/tablet screen to display Control Panel, and go to Super Device > . Drag the icons of the two pairs of earphones to the device icon, to have audio play from both pairs of earphones.

      • Audio controls during audio sharing: During audio playback, you can pause or resume playback, or skip to the previous or next track, from either pair of earphones. To adjust the volume, slide on the earphone, or go to Control Panel > > Audio projection on your phone and drag the slider to adjust the volume separately for each pair of earphones. Pressing the side button on the phone will adjust the volume of both pairs of earphones.
      • Call controls during audio sharing: In order to safeguard privacy, audio sharing is not supported during calls (when there is an incoming call, or when you are making calls in WeChat, QQ, or other third-party apps). WeChat ringtones and SMS message tones will be shared during audio sharing. By default, the pair of earphones first selected, or the pair whose icon is first dragged to the phone to establish a connection, will be used to make or answer calls. During self-sharing, if you answer an incoming call through a pair of earphones, sound will play from that pair of earphones.
  • If your audio sharing phone/tablet has been connected to only one pair of earphones, share audio to another pair via temporary sharing as follows:
    • Method 1: Swipe down from the right corner of the phone/tablet screen to display Control Panel, and go to > Audio projection. Select the connected earphones as the output device, and touch Share audio. The Search for devices screen will display. Bring a pair of earphones (in the case with the lid open) that supports temporary sharing close to your phone/tablet. If the earphones fail to be detected, hold down on the button on the charging case for 2 seconds until the indicator flashes, and bring the earphones close to your phone/tablet to initiate a connection.

    • Method 2: Swipe down from the right corner of the phone/tablet screen to display Control Panel, and go to > Audio projection. Select the connected earphones as the output device. Go back to the home screen, hold down on the button on the charging case of the earphones that support temporary sharing for at least 2 seconds (for FreeLace Pro 2, flip the Power switch to expose the green dot, and press and hold the Function button for at least 2 seconds) until the indicator flashes, and bring the earphones close to your phone/tablet to initiate a connection. Select SHARE in the pop-up that appears.

  • If two phones/tablets that support audio sharing are respectively connected to a pair of earphones that support temporary sharing, place the two phones/tablets close to each other, and a Listen with XX? prompt will display. Touch CONNECT on the sharing device to share the audio.

  • To halt audio sharing: Go to Control Panel > > Audio projection, and deselect the target earphones, or place the earphones in the charging case and close the case. After you exit temporary sharing, the pairing record between your device and the earphones to which audio was shared will be automatically deleted.

  • When audio sharing is enabled, Spatial Audio and Smart HD are automatically disabled, and Bluetooth audio codec will be set to AAC. Once audio sharing is disabled, Spatial Audio and Smart HD will be automatically restored to their original settings.
  • For privacy purposes, after Audio Accessory Manager is updated to version 13.0.0.100 or later, voice broadcast will be temporarily disabled when audio sharing is enabled on the earphones.
