What do the ports and buttons on my HUAWEI WiFi Q2 Pro do?

H button

This article uses the H button to represent the button.

The indicator will flash slowly when the router discovers a device that supports HarmonyOS Mesh+. You can press the H button to connect the device to the router's Wi-Fi network.

Devices that support HarmonyOS Mesh+ include HUAWEI routers, HUAWEI mobile phones (EMUI 5.1 or later), and more.

Power port

Connect to the power supply.

Avoid using power strips. Some power strips have EMI filters that may cause a secondary router to be unable to connect to the network.

WAN port

Connect the port to optical modems, broadband modems, and more.

LAN port

Connect the port to a wired Internet device, such as a computer.

Reset button

Power on the router and wait for a moment (until the router completes the startup process). Use a needle or pin to press and hold the Reset button on the router for approximately two seconds until the indicator turns off. Once the router reboots, it is restored to its factory settings.
