Ultra Snapshot on my HUAWEI phone/tablet does not work

Problem:

When Ultra Snapshot is enabled and the screen is off, the camera cannot be started after the user double pressed the Volume down button.

If Ultra Snapshot is not found in Settings in the upper right corner of Camera, your device does not support Ultra Snapshot.

Cause:

1. The setting for the camera to draw over other apps is disabled.
2. Battery optimization is allowed for Camera in the settings.
3. Ultra Snapshot is not supported during audio playback.

Solution:

1. Go to Settings > Apps & services > Apps > Camera > Draw over other apps and enable the switch.
2. Open Settings, search for and access Battery optimization, touch the triangle icon, select All apps, search for Camera, and select Don’t allow.
3. Double-pressing the Volume down button during audio playback will adjust the media volume, and will not start Ultra Snapshot. You will need to stop audio playback and then try Ultra Snapshot.
