My HUAWEI phone cannot wirelessly reverse-charge other phones

Problem:

The phone cannot wirelessly reverse-charge other phones.

Solution:

The device structure varies depending on the phone. You can try the following four methods to wirelessly reverse-charge other phones.

Figures are for reference only. You can slightly adjust the positions of the devices.

1. Crosswise charging mode (partially covering the cameras)

   For example, if you want to use Mate X6/Mate X7 to reverse-charge iPhones or other HUAWEI phones, place the devices crosswise, with the camera area of Mate X6/Mate X7 partially covered.

   

2. Crosswise charging mode (without covering the cameras)

   For example, if you want to use a HUAWEI phone to charge Mate 60 series, Mate 70 series, Mate X6, Mate X5, Mate X3, or other devices, place the devices crosswise without covering the cameras.

   

3. Bottom-aligned charging mode

   For example, if you want to use a Mate 60/Mate 70 series phone to reverse-charge iPhones, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 50 Pro, or P50 Pro, it is recommended that you align the bottom edges of both devices to start charging

   

4. Diagonal crosswise charging mode

   For example, if you want to use Pura 80/Mate 80 to reverse-charge a HUAWEI phone (such as Mate XT) or an iPhone, it is recommended that you place the devices at a diagonal crosswise angle.

   

   If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
