Adaptive volume on HUAWEI earbuds

HUAWEI FreeBuds 6/FreeClip 2/FreeBuds Pro 5 support the adaptive volume feature, which enables your earbuds to automatically adjust the volume based on the ambient noise, so that you can hear clearly even when the ambient noise increases.

Requirements for using this feature

  1. System:

    iOS/Android

  2. App:

    AI Life/HUAWEI Audio Connect

Steps

  1. Pair and wear the earbuds.
  2. Adaptive mode is disabled by default.
    • FreeBuds Pro 5/FreeBuds 6: Open AI Life/HUAWEI Audio Connect, access the earbuds card, and tap Adaptive modes to enable the adaptive volume feature.
    • FreeClip 2: Open AI Life/HUAWEI Audio Connect, access the earbuds card, and go to Earbud settings > Experimental features > Adaptive volume to enable the adaptive volume feature.
 
  • After the earbuds are restored to their factory settings, the feature will be restored to the default state.
  • The volume before adaptive volume is enabled is the basic volume. After the feature is enabled, the adjusted volume will not be lower than the basic volume. When you place the earbuds in the charging case and close the case, the volume will be restored to the basic volume.
