FAQs

  • What should I do if I tap my phone against the Huawei Share sensor, the computer doesn't respond, or no connection request is detected from the NFC tag?

    • Make sure that your phone is unlocked and the screen remains on.
    • Check that NFC is enabled on the phone.
    • Tap the NFC detection area on the back of your phone against the Huawei Share sensor until your phone vibrates or rings.
  • What should I do if I try to transfer images by tapping my phone against the computer's Huawei Share sensor, the transfer fails?

    • Check whether the computer model can support Huawei Share. The feature is only available on computers which are running PC Manager version 9.0.1.80 or later.
    • Make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your computer, and that Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC are enabled on your phone. Tap the NFC detection area on the back of your phone against the Huawei Share sensor again. If this doesn't fix the issue, restart your phone and computer.
  • If I open a file on my phone and computer at the same time, in which direction is the file transferred?

    • The file on your phone will be transferred to your computer by default.
    • To change the direction of the file transfer, close the file on your phone and go to the phone's home screen.
  • Where are files transferred from my phone stored on the computer?

    • Open PC Manager, go to Settings > Connections to view or modify the location where the files are stored.
  • Which phone apps can I use to drag and drop files between devices in Multi-Screen Collaboration?

    • System apps: Gallery, Files, Notepad, Email, and Recorder. Third-party apps: only supported with some apps. The actual support varies depending on the app version. (Note: Recorder files can only be dragged from your phone to the computer.)
  • Which speaker does the audio come out of when I make calls while using Multi-Screen Collaboration?

    • The audio will come out of whichever device you use to make or answer the call.
    • To switch the output device, swipe down on the home screen to display the notification panel then follow the onscreen instructions to select the output device.
    • Audio and video continuity is supported with the Phone app. Third-party app support depends on the app version.
