  • Q1. Who can participate?

    Any Huawei tablet users around the world aged 18 and above. Works that have received awards in any other contest, been published in public publications, or been exclusively licensed to any third party are not eligible for assessment.

  • Q2. How can I participate?

    You can submit your works through the official website of the activity (https://consumer.huawei.com/en/campaign/gopaint/), and other sub-arenas such as HUAWEI Community. To submit your works through the official website of the activity, you need to log in to your HUAWEI ID and authorize us to use your HUAWEI ID as the unique identifier to identify you, so that you can upload, view, and manage your works. For this purpose, we will collect your HUAWEI ID, HUAWEI ID nickname, and HUAWEI ID profile picture⁠.

  • Q3. When is the submission deadline?

    The deadline for submitting entries is December 31, 2025, at 24:00 Beijing Time (GMT + 8). To ensure the fairness of the activity, you are not allowed to further upload, modify, or delete your works after the submission deadline.

  • Q4. Do all submissions have to be created with a Huawei tablets?

    Yes. All works submitted for the GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity must be paintings created using Huawei tablets. There are no restrictions on the painting creation time or the specific models of Huawei tablets used.


    If your works are shortlisted, you will be required to provide files that record your work creation process. In consideration of this, ensure that the time-lapse recording feature of the software tool you use for your creation is enabled during your creation. If you do not provide the recording of the work creation process as required or the recording content cannot prove the originality of the work, our review of your works may be affected.

  • Q5. What are the rules and restrictions regarding the submission of files?

    The Graphic Works must be in either JPG, JPEG, or PNG format. The image resolution should be equal to or greater than 300 dpi. The size of each individual work must not exceed 30 MB. Animation works must be in either MP4 format, with a recommended resolution of 1080p.The size of each individual work must not exceed 400MB. Additionally, when uploading a work, you are required to provide a text description for each work, consisting of 30 to 100 words.

    (EXIF information will be taken as the proof for the paintings creating equipment. Therefore, it is suggested that EXIF information is saved when creating digital paintings.)

  • Q6. Is there an upper limit on the number of works that each participant can submit?

    Each participant can upload a maximum of 30 works. Works not approved will not be counted.

  • Q7. How do I know which category my work belongs to?

    Please read the description of each category carefully before submitting, and then submit your work to one category as you see fit.

  • Q8. Can I submit one work to multiple categories or different competition areas?

    Yes, you can. However, each individual work will be treated as a single entry for evaluation and incentives, with the first submission information serving as the basis regardless of the number of categories or areas it has been submitted to.

  • Q9. What information do I need to provide when submitting my work?

    The organizer collects information to provide better services to all our users. Such information includes user information you grant by logging in to your HUAWEI ID (such as HUAWEI ID, nickname, profile picture, and service region of HUAWEI ID), information you add after logging in to your HUAWEI ID (such as painter profile, email address, phone number, gender, age group, and occupation), and each work you submit and its brief description. Among the information, the nickname, email address, and phone number are used to contact you in a timely manner. The gender, age group, and occupation are used to calculate activity statistics, so that we can optimize user experience. The profile picture, painter profile, and country or region will xbe displayed together with works you submit.


    To protect your rights and interests in participation in the activity, please make sure that the contact information you provide is correct and accurate. Otherwise, we may not be able to verify your works and identity and therefore cannot complete assessing, awarding, or prize distribution process for your works.

  • Q10. How can I check on the works that I've already submitted?

    You can log in to your account on the official website, open My Gallery and then check on the status progress of any work you have uploaded.

  • Q11. Why has an uploaded work not been approved?

    As a participant of this activity, you undertake to abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the country/region where you are located, and shall not upload any information that is subversive, pornographic, violent, terrorist, or otherwise illegal. Works that violate relevant laws and regulations, as well as works that are considered by the organizer as violating public policy will be disqualified from the activity⁠.

  • Q12. How will assessment be performed?

    After the initial submission, all approved ones will be screened by a preliminary jury, and 100 works will be selected for the final stage of the activity. For the final judgment, a panel of judges will be invited to work together to decide the winners.


    Ensure that your work has been successfully published when participating in the activity. Any work that has been deleted or has not been published successfully cannot be traced during the statistics collection process. Participants shall assume full responsibility for any losses and consequences that may arise as a result. Huawei reserves the right of interpretation in relation to this activity within the bounds of the law.

  • Q13. What are the prizes?

    *The organiser reserves the right to adjust the number of prize winners as needed.

  • Q14. Will I retain the copyright of my submitted works?

    Yes, you do. The copyright of a work remains with its creator who takes part in the GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity. Participants in this activity shall have independent, complete, clear, and undisputed copyright to the works they submit. Furthermore, participants must ensure that the works they submit do not infringe upon the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, and property rights. Participants who submit works in the activity shall be considered to have agreed to this clause. Participants shall assume all legal responsibilities arising from any disputes resulting from their violation of the aforementioned warranties. The organizer shall not be held liable for any such legal responsibilities. By taking part in this activity, participants hereby irrevocably authorize the organizer and its affiliated companies the right to use the submitted works free of charge worldwide from the date of submission. The scope of use includes: (1) various activities and brand promotions, including but not limited to using the works in online and offline global activities and promotions such as global online media, print media, printed materials, galleries, retail stores, roadshows, and outdoor media; (2) the development, manufacturing, marketing, sales, service, distribution, and reproduction of various Huawei products and services; (3) Various ancillary products required by Huawei for sales, marketing, and service purposes. Given the above, the organizer shall not be required to notify participants or obtain their consent when using the submitted works. The organizer reserves the right to sublicense the aforementioned rights to any third-party partner without further obtaining participants’ consent.

  • Q15. What precautions should be taken regarding the submitted works?

    Participants in the activity must ensure that their submitted works have never been used for commercial purposes or licensed to any third party for use. These works must be solely created by the participants, without infringing upon the works of others, and the copyright of the works shall remain with the participants themselves. (If the works incorporate non-original material elements, participants must obtain the necessary permissions to use such material elements.) In the event of a copyright dispute arising during the collection or commercial utilization of the works, the participants in the activity shall be held legally liable and shall return any incentives received from the activity. The participants in the activity shall bear all losses incurred to the organizer.


    The works must comply with the specifications and be of authorship. Works that have been created using AI-generated content (AIGC) will not be accepted. Additionally, any works that involve the use of AIGC tools to generate images or elements will be deemed ineligible for the final assessment process.


    Only works that align with the designated activity themes will be eligible for participation. Works that are irrelevant to the activity themes will not be considered for the assessment process.

  • Q16. How will the organizer notify any winning participants of their prizes?

    We will primarily communicate with the winners by phone or email. In addition, we will release the list of winners on the official website of the activity so the participants can view it. The list of winners is expected to be officially announced in February 2026.

  • Q17. Can I delete my uploaded works?

    You can delete your works by logging in to the Huawei GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity website and going to My Gallery. However, for the purpose of ensuring fairness of the activity, you will not be allowed to delete your uploaded works if the works have been submitted to the activity and the activity is in the assessment phase.

  • Q18. How do I view data in GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity?

    The activity website (https://consumer.huawei.com/en/campaign/gopaint/) displays information about participation and works for 2025. If you want to view or manage your historical information or data, you can contact the organizer for ⁠assistance.

  • Q19. Will my submitted works be exhibited globally?

    The Huawei GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity is a global work gathering activity, and the works you upload will be reviewed and assessed in China. Approved submissions will be displayed on related websites of the Huawei GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity to global users. Global users can find and browse the ⁠submissions on the official website of the Huawei GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity (https://consumer.huawei.com/en/campaign/gopaint/). Apart from being showcased globally on the official website of the activity, the shortlisted award-winning works may also be exhibited through our collaborative platforms, such as HUAWEI Themes and HUAWEI Community.
