Forgotten the Wi-Fi password of the Mobile Broadband

 

• A factory reset will clear the configuration parameters of the CPE. In this case, you will need to set up your router again to connect to the Internet.

• If you forget both the Mobile Broadband's login password or the Wi-Fi password, restore your router to its factory settings, and follow the instructional manual to reset the router.
• If you remember the login password, perform the following steps to check the Wi-Fi password:

Method 1: Using the AI Life app

1. Connect your phone to your router's Wi-Fi.
2. Open the AI Life app on your phone, and log in with the HUAWEI ID that is associated with your router.
3. On the home screen of AI Life, touch the corresponding router to access the router management screen. Go to Show more > Wi-Fi management > Wi-Fi,
4. Touch the icon next to the password to display the current Wi-Fi password. (The figure is for reference only.)

Method 2: Managing your router on the web-based management page on your computer

1. Connect your computer to the router's Wi-Fi (or to the router's LAN port using an Ethernet cable).
2. In the browser address bar, enter 192.168.8.1 and log in to the router's web-based management page.
3. Go to Wi-Fi settings > Wi-Fi Basic Settings, and click the icon next to the password to display the current Wi-Fi password.
